Customer care works in both directions. At least that’s how it has worked for Mike Deck , Broker/Owner of ERA Real Estate Links and leader of Team Deck. “I have always tried to make sure my focus is on taking care of my customers, and my customers have always taken care of me.”

Mike started ERA Real Estate Links in Carmel seven years ago and it has grown to fulfill his vision of what a real estate company should be. “I started out with just myself and one assistant, we now have over fifty agents at ERA Real Estate Links.”

A native and graduate of Carmel High School, Mike went on to Hanover College. He earned his bachelor’s degree and real estate license concurrently, and came back home right away to begin building his business.

Mike established himself in the business by doing a lot of open houses and networking those early years and focusing on giving his clients excellent service. That committment to serving his clients has never wavered and he believes it is the reason Team Deck and ERA Real Estate Links have flourished.

Team Deck is made up of five members. In addition to Mike, there are two buyers’ agents, one land developer and one in-house licensed staff member. The vision of Team Deck is to treat each transaction “as it it were our own.” This approach to customer care is one key to why they have so many referrals and why clients keep coming back.

Amber Hawkins joined ERA Real Estate Links in August 2006 and her roles are Client Services Specialist and Assistant to Mike. Licensed for over three years, Amber is responsible for all of the behind-the-scenes transaction management for Mike’s sellers and buyers.

Mindy Garcia and Candy Hester are Team Deck’s Buyers’ Agents. A graduate of Florida State University, Mindy has been licensed for six years and also has her Broker’s license. She and her husband of four years, Joe, have started their own custom home building business. According to Mindy, she “values the relationships I have gained and hope to build many more.”

Candy  Hester and her husband, Jason, enjoy participating in school, church and community activities along with their three children, Grace, Will, and Ethan. Her community involvement provides her the knowledge and resources to be of great service to her real estate clients.

Mark Humphrey joined ERA Real Estate Links in May 2006 and has over 10 years of experience in the Indianapolis Building and Real Estate markets and has lived on the North side of Indianapolis for over 14 years. Mark’s role is to spearhead land development and new construction for ERA Real Estate Links and is currently working on a great custom development project in West Carmel.
